A visual arts classroom is shaped to support painting, ceramics, sculpture, graphic and digital art. Walls are fitted with magnetic panels, hanging rails and frame systems that form an exhibition area, so students can display their work at all times. Light tones chosen according to colour-therapy principles make the room look larger and support accurate colour perception during art activities.

Modular Furniture and Storage

  • Work tables: workshop tables with adjustable height and tilt and an easy-to-clean surface, suitable for both individual and group work.
  • Storage solutions: cabinets with transparent drawers for paint tubes, clay blocks, brushes and paper stock keep materials organised and quick to reach.
  • Worktop and cabinet unit: ventilated compartments where ceramic or sculpture materials can be stored protected from moisture and dust.

Lighting and Ventilation

Daylight-like LED panels are used so that colours and tonal transitions are perceived correctly. Windows are positioned to minimise shadows, while ventilation systems with exhaust fans reduce the harmful effects of solvent-based paints and clay dust.

Safety and Cleaning

  • Durable floor covering: epoxy or rubber flooring resistant to water and paint stains, easy to clean.
  • Protective equipment area: hooks where gloves, aprons and goggles can be hung and picked up easily.
  • Waste management: liquid waste collection units and recycling bins strengthen both environmental awareness and hygiene standards.

Spaces that Encourage Creativity

  • Trial corners: stands for digital tablets and graphic pen sets that let projects move instantly into the digital world.
  • Shared exhibition zone: changeable board surfaces for displaying students’ work in the classroom or corridor.
  • Flexible workshop space: folding systems for storing worktops and tables, so the room can also be used for drama or performance activities.

Feta’s visual arts classroom designs combine functionality, aesthetics and student safety to create inspiring spaces where artistic talent can develop freely.
